Iran have been drawn in Pool B of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship qualification.

The Iranian team have been pitted against Thailand, South Korean North Korea, Vietnam and Thailand.
Team Melli will kick off the competition with a match against powerhouse Thailand on September 20.
The competition will be held at the Nakhon Pathom Sports Center Gymnasium in Nakhon Pathom from September 20 to 24.
Pool A consists of China, Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, Australia and Fiji.
The Asian section of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship qualification acts as qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, to be held in Japan, for national teams which are members of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
