TEHRAN – Iran’s First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri on Saturday congratulated Singapore on its national day, according to the government’s official website.

A day earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Singapore Javad Ansari met with that country’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on the occasion of their national day.

During the meeting, Hsien Loong expressed thanks for a similar letter by President Hassan Rouhani, where he had hoped for further development in bilateral relations.
