TEHRAN – Former President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani has expressed condolences to Qods Force chief Major General Qassem Soleimani over the death of his father.

“I express my condolences to you, your family, friends and relatives, and wish you good health,” Barzani said in a message, ISNA reported.

Iraqi President Fuad Masum has also condoled Soleimani over his father’s demise.

Hassan Soleimani passed away at the age 95 on Tuesday due to old age.
