Iran’s “Servant” wins awards at U.S. festivals

TEHRAN – “The Servant”, the acclaimed short animation by Iranian director Farnush Abedi, has won two awards at U.S. festivals.

The film was named the best short animation at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival, which was held from October 25 to 27.

It was also selected as best animation in the College Competition of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF).

The animated movie is about a servant who becomes a master and a bug becomes his servant. After a while, the man understands that he has begun a game that has no rules.

“The Servant” has been screened at many Iranian and international events and has won several awards from some of them.
