TEHRAN – Abbas Jafari-Dolatabadi, the Tehran prosecutor general, announced on Tuesday that 23 suspects have been identified with links to the Tehran terrorist attacks.

On June 7 two terrorist attacks were simultaneously carried out by five Daesh (ISIS) militants against the parliament building and the mausoleum of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini – the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Jafari-Dolatabadi also pointed to another case of Daesh militants who were arrested in Iran.

The case involves suspects who left Iran to join Daesh and were forced to come back after the terrorist group’s defeats in Iraq and Syria, he said, Fars reported.
