Quake turns 130,000 tent dwellers

The photo shows tents established to home people whose houses were partially or completely destroyed in a massive earthquake which hit the province of Kermanshah in western Iran. The 7.3 magnitude tremor, which happened on the evening of November 12, left about 130,000 homeless. The interior minister has said work has started for construction of provisional houses as the winter is quickly approaching. He said efforts for building permanent homes will begin in a month by the Housing Foundation.
