What’s in Tehran art galleries

Paintings by Sepideh Yari are on view in an exhibition at Shokuh Gallery.

The exhibition will run until January 3 at the gallery located at 19 Amir Nuri Alley, North Salimi St. near Andarzgu Blvd.


Painting/drawing

Hoor Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Manuchehr Safarzadeh.

The exhibit will continue until January 19 at the gallery located at 12 Naeimi Alley, North Mirza Shirazi Ave., off Motahhari St.


Persian miniature 

An exhibition of Persian miniatures by Parmis Mozaffari is currently underway at Naqsh-e Jahan Gallery.

The exhibition will run until January 3 at the gallery located at 9 Ayatollah Mahmudi St. in the Niavaran neighborhood.  


Embroidery 

Negar Maleke Ashtar is displaying a collection of her embroidery at Elaheh Gallery in an exhibition that will run until January 8.

The gallery can be found at 47 Golfam St., off Africa Ave.

Works by a large group of photographers are on display in an exhibition at Shalman Gallery.

Photos by Ali Omidvar, Mohammad Ebrahimi, Romina Esmaeili and Bamdad Aminzadeh are among the works showcased at the exhibit titled “Second Narrative”.

The exhibition runs until January 3 at the gallery located at 27 Kavusi Alley, West Rudbar St., off Mirdamad Blvd.    


Calligraphic painting

A collection of calligraphic paintings by Setareh Tabatabai-Qane’, which have been created based on haikus from Iranian poet Soheil Mahmudi, is on display in an exhibition at Farda Gallery.

The exhibition titled “My Mother’s Scarf Flowers” will run until January 4 at the gallery that can be found at 2 Araabi Alley, Hosseini St., off Karim Khan Ave.
