Iran ready for visa-free with ‘any country’

December 30, 2017

TEHRAN – Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Hassan Qashqavi on Friday voiced Iran’s readiness for visa-free arrangements with any country “which respects our passport”.

Qashqavi said Iran is ready to apply a similar condition for citizens of those countries that set visa-free entry for Iranian citizens, IRNA reported.

“Although we are in a tense region, the vigilance of security and military forces will leave no security concern in this regard,” he added.

He also said Iraqi citizens can visit Iran without visas, hoping the Iraqi government would soon do the same for Iranians.
