Photos of Kermanshah earthquake showcased at Tehran exhibit

TEHRAN – An exhibition of photos displaying scenes of the destructions caused by the devastating earthquake in the western Iranian region of Kermanshah opened at Tehran’s Qasr Garden Museum on Monday.

The director of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, Ali-Asghar Peyvandi and a number of artists and cultural officials attended an opening ceremony for the exhibit.

Photos by Mehdi Qasemi, Majid Asgaripur, Ahmad Balbasi, Mohammad Zare, Reza Ahmadvand, Mohammad Khademolsheikh and several other photojournalists have been selected for the exhibition.

The exhibit will run until January 12 at the museum located on Motahhari St. near Police Square.
