Ambassador censures Trump’s insulting tweets

TEHRAN – Iran's ambassador to London on Monday blasted U.S. President Donald Trump for insulting the Iranian nation, urging him to focus on his own people’s woes rather than interfering in other countries’ affairs.

In a post on his official Twitter account, Hamid Baeidinejad said that after insulting Iranians by calling them “terrorists,” the U.S. president has now described them as “hungry”.

Trump had tweeted earlier in the day that Iranian people “are hungry for food & for freedom. Along with human rights, the wealth of Iran is being looted. TIME FOR CHANGE!”
