TEHRAN – Three Iranian films will be competing in the 5th Green Image Film Festival in Tokyo, the organizers have announced.

“The Fan” by Fatmeh Sohani produced by the Barfak Animation Studio and “In the Crosshairs” by Marzieh Kheirkhah produced by the Wildlife Pictures Institute will be screened in the short film category.

“Ranger and Leopard” by Fathollah Amiri will be competing in the mid-length film section.

A total of 29 films from different countries, including Sweden, Brazil, France, Japan, India, Switzerland and Australia, will be competing for the Green Image Award.

The festival is a visual forum to think about the environment through moving images, and to see the world’s best environmental films and discover creative talents.
