TEHRAN -- The 36th Fajr International Film Festival has announced the films for Docs in Focus, a section dedicated to documentaries.

Eight documentaries by filmmakers from Australia, Britain, Ukraine, Poland and several other countries will go on screen in this category. 

“A Marriage Story” by Helena Trestíková from the Czech Republic, “Blue” by Karina Holden from Australia, “Meteors” by Gürcan Keltek from Turkey, “Slovo House” by Taras Tomenko from Ukraine, “Sea Sorrow” by Vanessa Redgrave from Britain, and “Communion” by Anna Zamecka from Poland are among the documentaries.

Also included are Swiss and German co-production “Eldorado” by Markus Imhoof as well as the Spanish and Dutch co-production “The Sea Stares at Us from Afar” by Manuel Muñoz Rivas. 

The festival will be held in Tehran from April 19 to 27.
