Brazil Anima Mundi to screen Iranian movies

TEHRAN – The Anima Mundi Festival, a Brazilian animation platform for animated films, will be screening five movies from Iranian filmmakers.

“Pet Man” by Marzieh Abrarpaydar will compete in the short film category. The animation was produced at Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center. 

“Nobody” by Elham Toroqi, “Polychrome” by Negareh Halimi, and “Roobi and Chickens” by Babak Nekooei and Behnood Nekooei will be screened in the Short for Children section.

“Mr. Deer” by Mojtaba Musavi and “The Train” by Javad Maturi have been selected for the International Panorama.

The festival will be held in Rio de Janeiro from July 21 to 29 and São Paulo from August 1 to 5.
