TEHRAN – Hossein Jaberi Ansari, a senior assistant to the Iranian foreign minister, met with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on Wednesday, according to the official website of Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

Jaberi Ansari was on a visit to Tunisia as the special envoy of President Hassan Rouhani. He conveyed the warmest greetings of Rouhani to his Tunisian counterpart. 

The Iranian diplomat also elaborated on the latest developments regarding the 2015 Iran nuclear deal as well as Washington’s unilateral pullout from the agreement and its violation of this multilateral international accord.
