TEHRAN – A lineup of four Iranian films have been selected to go on screen at the 14th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival running in the South Korean city from August 9 to 14.

Kaveh Moeinfar’s drama “Life without Life” and Ali Zare’s animated film “The Internationale” will be screened in the Cine Symphony section, the organizers have announced.

The Cine Symphony section screens musical films, movies of various genres that feature music or musicians, and contemporary drama films, in which music has been used crucially for the development of the drama.

Family Fest, a section featuring popular films that possess broad appeal across generations, will also screen the Iranian animated films “Butterfly” by Maryam Khalilzadeh and “Instrument” by Abedin Mohammadi.

The films from Argentina, the UK, France, the U.S., Germany, Denmark and several other countries will be competing in the event.
