Shot of the moon eclipse captured beside the ancient city of Persepolis, near the city of Shiraz. The multi-exposure photo shows penumbral eclipse to partial and total eclipse; and then a gradual ending of eclipse from total to penumbral.

The so-called blood moon was visible at different times in most parts of the world when the sun, earth and moon lined up perfectly, casting earth’s shadow on the moon. People gathered to watch the longest eclipse of the century in Iran.
