TEHRAN – Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehdi Honardoost, on Monday congratulated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan over his party’s victory in general elections, saying Tehran desires strong multi-dimensional ties with Pakistan.

In his message, Honardoost said that people of Pakistan, by exercising their right to vote in a large number, have strengthened democratic process in the country, IRNA reported.

The ambassador added that Iran is willing to boost cooperation with Pakistan in all fields.

He prayed for the success of Imran Khan and his party in providing the people of Pakistan with a stable, democratic, and prosperous future.
