TEHRAN – An Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) expert on Tuesday unveiled some details of Iran’s air-launched cruise missiles with a range of 1,500 kilometers, IRNA reported.

The expert said the missiles are launched by a booster and primary propulsion system, and then they will continue their travel following their second engines that are usually jet type.

When the missiles are mounted, the fighters play the role of primary propulsion systems, the expert said, adding the cruise missiles with a range of 1,500 kilometers are manufactured on the basis of land-launched cruise missiles.
