TEHRAN – Abbasali Kadkhodaei, spokesman of the Guardian Council, said on Sunday that the Palermo bill will be reviewed by the Expediency Council, ISNA reported.

Back in January, the parliament passed the Palermo bill in order to join the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC).

In May, Kadkhodaei said the bill has been thoroughly reviewed by the Guardian Council, adding that there are numerous problems within the bill which the parliament has been informed about. He further said the problems are mostly mistakes in translation.
