Tehran Vogue underway at ECO Cultural Institute

TEHRAN – The Cultural Institute of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tehran is playing host to an event entitled “Tehran Vogue” that is showcasing collections of Persian carpets, artworks, fashion designs and musical performances.

The Art and Cultural Carpet Foundation of Rassam Arabzadeh is organizing the event in collaboration with the ECO.

The carpets on view are rarely-seen Persian carpets, while the visual art section displays works by world-famous sculptor Parviz Tanavoli, master miniaturists Mahmud Farshchian and Reza Badrossama, and painter Adak Jamshidzadeh.

Works by top Iranian fashion designers have also been put on display at the 3-day event.

The all-female Kurdish folk music ensemble Jivar, Lian band from the southern Iranian city of Bushehr and several other groups are scheduled to give performances at the Tehran Vogue.
