TEHRAN – Centuries-old manuscripts of the holy Quran have recently been rehabilitated with the efforts of Kordestan province’s cultural heritage department, CHTN reported.

“We identified all physical harms with four separate sets of manuscripts being kept in rural mosques across the province,” said Jalil Balaei, the provincial tourism chief.

With regard to their original authenticity, the manuscripts have been treated with deacidification, dressing, and strengthening processes, and will be put on show, he added.
