Muslim Nations Should Join Forces to Support Palestinians

Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz will boycott the Summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which opens Sunday in Doha, over Qatar's trade ties with the Zionist regime, an AFP dispatch said Wednesday.
It is not only Saudi Arabia, but several other Muslim countries are also going to put pressure on Qatar to sever its relations with the Zionist entity by refusing to attend the summit.
In Iran, the people got a shock early this week when some reports quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Javad Zarif as saying that President Seyed Mohammad Khatami was going to attend the OIC Summit. However, it is generally believed that Khatami will not attend the summit because of the Zionist presence in Doha and as a token of solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation.
The Iranian President on Tuesday appealed to all Muslim countries to join forces to support the Palestinians who are struggling to liberate their homeland from the occupation of the Zionists.
The decision by Saudi Arabia, as the custodian of the two holiest sites in Islam, to boycott the Doha summit will surely be beneficial to the cause of the Palestinians, who are also struggling to liberate Islam's third holiest site, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the clutches of the Zionists.
Those going to attend the OIC summit in Doha, where the Zionists have a mission, will in effect approve of the Zionist atrocities against the oppressed Palestinians. But by refusing to attend the summit, the Muslim leaders can send a clear message to the pro-Zionist U.S. administration that they will no longer tolerate the presence of the Zionists in Islamic countries and are prepared to help the Palestinians in their holy struggle.
