    During a road construction project a collection of antiquities dating back to Median era (8th to 7th centuries BC) were found in the city of Hamedan, western Iran, on Tuesday.  The antiquities including centuries-old tools and potteries are believed to be the remains of the ancient city of Ecbatana.
