| Lebanon, Syria within Iran’s strategic depth: general |

.jpg) TEHRAN – A senior military advisor to the Supreme Leader said on Saturday that Lebanon and Syria are within the strategic depth of the Islamic Republic.
Major General Yahya Rahim-Safavi also said, “If one day the Zionist regime takes action against us, resistance groups, particularly Lebanon’s Hezbollah, (which are within) our strategic defense depth, will respond to the regime more easily.”
He also said that Iran’s support for Palestine is in line with the country’s strategic defense policy.
