.jpg) TEHRAN – Iran has been invited to participate in an international conference on the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction, which is scheduled to be held in Helsinki, Finland in the near future.
The invitation was extended by Finnish Under Secretary of State Jaakko Laajava, who has been appointed as the facilitator of the conference, during a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundzade in Tehran on Monday.
