 TEHRAN -- The senior military advisor of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has said that Israel has brought itself to death’s doorstep through its threats to attack Iran.
“The stupidity of officials of the Zionist regime has brought the residents of the occupied territories one step away from the graveyard,” Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said in Tehran on Friday.
Rahim Safavi, who was formerly the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, also said the enemies should be aware that Iran’s response to any threat will be “destructive” and will make the enemy regret their actions.
He added, “If the Zionist regime does anything against us, the resistance groups, especially the Lebanese Hezbollah, as our strategic defensive depth, will easily respond to this regime.”
