Half of Israeli citizens fear Israel could cease to exist if it attacks Iran: poll

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_ep1(56).jpgTEHRAN – Half of Israeli citizens are concerned about the survival of Israel in the event of a confrontation with Iran, according to a poll published by Haaretz on Thursday, the Jerusalem Post reported. 
 
“Half of Israeli citizens, almost 4 million women and men, fear that Israel could stop existing if a war breaks out with Iran,” read part of an opinion piece entitled ‘Panic as diplomacy,’ which was published on the website of the Jerusalem Post on Thursday. 
 
It also read, “(Benjamin) Netanyahu is harming. Never has an Israeli prime minister been so unwanted a personality among the U.S. administration as Netanyahu is today.”
