Delay in releasing Iranians abducted in Libya unacceptable: diplomat

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br1(71).jpgTEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that a delay in the process of obtaining the release of the Iranian nationals abducted in Libya is not acceptable.
 
In an interview with the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency published on Saturday, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran believes that Libya is responsible for protecting the lives of the abductees in the country. 
 
On July 31, a group of armed people kidnapped a seven-member delegation from the Iranian Red Crescent while they were leaving the headquarters of the Libyan Red Crescent in Benghazi.
