Principlist group says may nominate Hadad-Adel or Qalibaf as presidential candidate

altTEHRAN – Former MP Parviz Sorouri has said that the Society of Followers of the Islamic Revolution, a principlist group, may choose senior MP Gholam Ali Hadad-Adel or Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf as its candidate for the 2013 presidential election.  

 
In an interview with the Persian service of the Fars News Agency published on Sunday, Sorouri, who is the deputy director of the society, said that the Society plans to hold meetings with various principlist groups to reach a consensus over a presidential candidate.
