Iran has no doubt Assad’s reform plan will succeed: deputy FM

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_30776382-2195316.jpgTEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that the Islamic Republic is confident that the reform plan put forward by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will come to fruition.
 
In an interview with the Persian service of the Fars News Agency published on Monday, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran has also presented some proposals to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, and UN mediator Lakhdar Brahimi to help resolve the Syrian crisis.     
 
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt support opposition groups against the government of President Beshar al-Assad.
