IRGC, Basij hold joint military drill in Tehran

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_ep4(30).jpgTEHRAN – Members of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and the Basij took part in a joint military drill in southeast of Tehran on Thursday and Friday.  
 
The IRGC deputy commander, Brigadier General Hossein Salami, and the commander of the Tehran-based Mohammad Rasulollah Division of the IRGC, Brigadier General Mohsen Kazemeini, observed the drill. 
 
At the beginning of the event, Kazemeini said, “The drill is held to show Iran’s military prowess in the face of the West’s threats against our country.”  
 
And Salami said that Iranian military forces are fully prepared to defend the country.
