Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency, Marziyeh stated that the individual, who had disguised as a policeman, was arrested while attempting to enter the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan through the border with Afghanistan.

“After the necessary investigations, it became clear that the person had been tasked with carrying out terrorist activities by the Jundushaitan (Soldiers of Satan) group,” the Zahedan prosecutor general stated, referring to the Jundullah terrorist group, which is also known as Jundushaitan.

“The arrested person confessed that he was scheduled to be provided with explosives after entering Iran,” he added.
