| Iran arrests a forex market manipulator |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Iranian security and intelligence personnel have arrested a person named Jamshid Besmellah on charges of manipulating the foreign exchange market, First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi announced on Sunday.
On Saturday, Rahimi had said that the mentioned person had been setting foreign currency prices in open-market trade.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Rahimi also said, “Over the past days, 20 manipulators of the foreign exchange market have been arrested whose names I do not know.”
Iran had arrested 16 main suspects on charges of manipulating the foreign exchange market on October 3.
