|Iranian president calls for economic centralization||
TEHRAN - Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinezhad put forward economic proposals at a meeting of the Expediency Council held on Saturday, according to EC Secretary Mohsen Rezaii.
During a press conference in Tehran on Saturday, Rezaii said that Ahmadinejad made a series of suggestions regarding the centralization of the country’s economy.
He said that the Expediency Council has finished studying the general policies concerning national production and supporting Iranian labor and capital and has also received the economic proposals from the president.
Replying to a question about the details of Ahmadinejad’s proposals, Rezaii said that the EC economic committee will hold a meeting with the president to study the suggestions.
