According to Reuters, an attacker, identified as Adam Lanza, opened fire on Friday morning at Sandy Hook Elementary School, which teaches children aged five to 10. He ultimately killed at least 26 people, before turning the gun on himself.
Mehmanparast also urged the “U.S. society” to join the campaign against warmongering, the killing of innocent people by armed groups, and terrorist attacks in various parts of the world.
In addition, he condemned the killing of innocent people and terrorism in any shape and form.
“The children and teenagers that fall victim to armed actions in Gaza, the United States, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, or Syria are not different on humanitarian grounds, and everybody should try to bring peace, security, and calm for all the world’s people,” he said.
