| Leader hails high turnout for Islamic Revolution anniversary demos |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday thanked the Iranian people for their massive turnout for the rallies held across the country on Sunday to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
“Right at the time when the enemies of the Iranian nation’s independence and dignity expected that the people will not respond to the call of the revolution and the call of the Islamic Republic, the people disappointed the enemy with their participation,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The enemies are seeking to give the impression that the people did not turn out in large numbers for the demonstrations, the Leader said, adding, “(But) of course they observe and understand the realities on the ground and analyze them and reach the conclusion that they cannot stand against this nation.”
