.jpg) TEHRAN – The priority is with Russia should Iran decide to construct a new nuclear power plant, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi told an IRNA correspondent in Moscow on Tuesday.
Russia built Iran’s first nuclear power plant, namely the Bushehr power plant.
Construction of the plant was started in 1975 by German companies, but the work was stopped in 1979 after the Islamic revolution of Iran. A contract for finishing the plant was signed between Iran and Russia in 1995.
