.jpg) TEHRAN – Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former chairman of the Assembly of Experts, will definitely not run for the post in the assembly’s next election that will be held on Tuesday, his son, Mohsen, told the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency on Saturday.
In addition, an informed source told the Persian service of the Fars News Agency on Saturday that Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani, the current chairman of the assembly, would probably run for the post.
