Ecuadorean, Ghanaian ambassadors meet Ahmadinejad

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_mt1(41).jpgTEHRAN – In separate meetings on Wednesday the new ambassadors of Ecuador and Ghana to Tehran submitted their credentials to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
 
During the meeting with Ecuadorian Ambassador Umberto Vinuesa Rodriguez, the president called for the expansion of relations with Ecuador, emphasizing that it is Tehran’s firm policy to bolster the bilateral ties.
 
Ahmadinejad also said that the enemies don’t want the friendly countries of Iran and Ecuador to stand by each other and make progress, and called for more efforts to make closer ties.
 
The Ecuadorian ambassador described Iran as an influential country in the region and the world and called for an expansion of ties in all fields.
 
In his meeting with the new Ghanaian ambassador, Ahmadinejad said that Iran and Ghana can cooperate in various economic and cultural areas, saying that Tehran sees no barrier in the expansion of bilateral ties.
 
Ahmadinejad also said that Iran and Ghana are standing side by side to promote the global peace and justice.
 
The Ghanaian ambassador called relations between the two countries “very good.”
