| Iran refutes PGCC-EU allegations against Tehran |

 TEHRAN – The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Monday dismissed as baseless a statement by the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) and the European Union (EU) in which it accuses Iran of interfering in Syria.
The statement was issued after a joint meeting of the two sides in Manama, Bahrain, on Sunday.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi said a number of these countries were repeating their accusations against Iran while they themselves were worsening the crisis in Syria through arming the Takfiri terrorists in the country.
