Iran condemns forced landing of Bolivian president’s plane

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br3(230).jpgTEHRAN – Iran has condemned as “unacceptable” the behavior of a number of European countries, in which they refused to allow the plane of Bolivian President Evo Morales to fly through their airspace on Tuesday and forced it to land in Vienna over suspicion that former U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden was on board.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi described the incident as a violation of international law, calling it an insult to the Bolivian president and nation.
