| MPs seek Salehi’s explanation about Mashaei’s role in foreign policy |

.jpg) TEHRAN – The Majlis Presiding Board on Sunday acknowledged the receipt of a motion signed by ten lawmakers calling for Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi to be summoned to the parliament to give an explanation about the role of presidential advisor Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei in Iran’s foreign policy.
“Mashaei has had more than 300 foreign trips, and the foreign minister should explain (Mashaei‘s) responsibility and the purpose of these trips,” MP Alireza Salimi told the Mehr News Agency on the same day.
