| Rohani says Iran will support resistance movements |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Iranian President-elect Hassan Rohani said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic will support the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine.
In a response to the congratulatory message of Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on his election win, Rohani also hailed the efforts by Hezbollah in the resistance front.
He also replied to the congratulatory message of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, saying that the deep-rooted relations between Tehran and Damascus reflect the strong resolve of the two countries for broad cooperation in various areas and foiling the enemies’ plots, especially the Israeli conspiracies.
Rohani also said with the efforts of the Syrian forces “the resistant and great nation of Syria would pass the current juncture and maintain its independence and territorial integrity.”
