| ‘Iran’s population not on the decline’ |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Iran’s population is not decreasing, the director of Population Association of Iran, Mohammad Mirzaei, announced on Sunday.
It is not right to assume that Iran’s population is declining while the country’s population growth rate is 1.3 percent, Mirzaei told the Mehr News Agency.
He further said that Iran has a population of 78 million, and more than 70 percent of the population is at working age, which is between the ages of 20 to 65.
