He made the remarks during a question and answer session with reporters at the office of Iran newspaper on Monday.

On the Egyptian developments, Amareh said that no particular group or party will be sidelined on deciding about the fate of the country’s future.

He added that Egypt is now striving for a national reconciliation and is seeking an involvement of all groups in the new government.

The Egyptian diplomat also commented on developments in Syria, saying that Cairo is seeking a political solution to the Syrian crisis, saying that a military approach would not help resolve any problem in the crisis-hit Arab country.

He regretted the fact that certain countries were seeking to drag the Syrian conflict beyond its borders and spill the crisis into other regional countries. He further stated that Syria’s problem is an internal issue which should be resolved through dialogue.

He also stressed that Cairo would not interfere in internal issues of Syria.
