“Iran, Turkey, and a number of Arab countries have increased their share in global research output in the last decade,” Jafar Mehrdad said in the city of Shiraz, Fars Province, on Saturday, the Mehr News Agency reported.

“However, I acknowledge the fact that over the past 10 years, the research output of regional countries has increased only from two to four percent,” added the director of the ISC, a newly-established ranking center which ranks the universities of the Islamic countries.
