.jpg) TEHRAN – Mohammad Reza Aref said on Friday that he will not have a post in the government of Iran’s new President Hassan Rohani.
Aref, a pro-reform a candidate in the June 14 presidential election, withdrew his candidacy just before the election, a move that was believed to help Rohani win the majority of votes.
Rohani will be sworn in as president on August 4 and may introduce his cabinet to the parliament on the same day.
