Iran to send four new satellites into space

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br3(250).jpgTEHRAN – Iran plans to put four new satellites, namely the Autsat, the Nahid 2, the Sharifsat, and the Zafar (Victory), into orbit in the near future, the Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday. 
 
Iran launched its first satellite, called the Omid (Hope), in February 2009. The Rasad (Observation) satellite was also sent into orbit in June 2011.
 
In February 2012, Iran successfully put its third domestically manufactured satellite, named the Navid (Promise), into orbit.
