Iran, Afghanistan sign agreement on ‘strategic cooperation’

The agreement was signed by the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili, and Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s national security advisor, Rangin Dadfar Spanta. 
 
The two officials said that the agreement would help strengthen relations between the two countries.
