.jpg) TEHRAN – In a decree issued on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rohani appointed Ali Asghar Fani as caretaker minister of education.
The appointment came after Mohammad Ali Najafi, who was proposed as education minister, was rejected by the parliament.
Rohani’s candidates for science and sports ministerial posts also failed to receive a vote of confidence from the parliament.
The president has three months to introduce new candidates for the posts.
